54The phrase “wow” is not enough to scratch the surface describing the action between the Raiders and Valpo. Betsy Adams (VU) was on crutches due to an injury earlier in the week, but scored 22 on the Raiders the first game in Indiana. Who would step up for the Crusaders? It would be Whitney Farris, dropping 22 points and collecting 10 rebounds. However, that wouldn’t be enough to climb out of the hole. The Raiders were led by senior Kanisha Ward, who made 16 points (4 three-pointers) and was rarely guarded by the Crusaders.
Next game for the Raiders is this Saturday at 3:00, against Butler.
